Foto-Cache is an online repository of forgotten and unwanted cell-phone images that participants have 'donated' using their cell phones. Rooted in Benjamin's idea of the "optical unconscious," the project seeks to document an otherwise unaccounted form of personal media to distil the repressed personality of the collective unconscious.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The site has been built using the Flickr API and the most nimble, flexible and intuitive Phlickr API kit. Participants will require a cell phone with a camera and a subscription to an e-mail service to contribute images to the gallery. The site is cell-phone friendly in terms of browsing, but might take a while to load depending on Flickr.
